Description
L-Cysteine Monohydrochloride occurs as a white, crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water and in alcohol. The anhydrous form melts with decomposition at about 175°.
Application
L-cysteine hydrochloride can be used as a bread improver, a nutritional supplement, an antioxidant, and a color protectant. It has detoxification effect on acrylonitrile and aromatic poisoning, has the effect of preventing radiation damage, and has the effect of treating bronchitis and phlegm.
