Product name:
L-Valine
It is one of the branched chain amino acids (BCAA), which can't be synthesized by animals themselves and must be taken from the diet to meet their nutritional needs. Therefore, L-valine is an essential amino acid.
Description
It occurs as a white, crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water, and practically insoluble in alcohol and in ether. The pH of a 1:20 aqueous solution is between 5.5 and 7.0. In a closed capillary tube, it melts at about 315°.
Application
It is one of the branched chain amino acids (BCAA), which belongs to essential amino acids. If it is lacking, it can cause neurological disorders, stop development, weight loss, anemia and so on. As a nutritional supplement, it can be combined with other essential amino acids to prepare amino acid infusions and comprehensive amino acid preparations.
